Appoquinimink School District seeks a school athletics coach to develop and sustain a program for students in high school sports. You will coach participants, implement practice schedules, and promote sportsmanship and teamwork across grades 9–12.

The role requires knowledge of NFHS and DIAA rules, strong communication, and the ability to manage safety and records across ASD facilities and events.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level.
• Knowledge of NFHS Rules, DIAA Rules, conference regulations, and ASD policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, coaches and community using approved district methods.

Responsabilités

• Coach participants in mechanics and skills for competitive high school sports.
• Coordinate and supervise a regular schedule of practice.
• Encourage sportsmanship and team unity and enforce guidelines.
• Enforce discipline of contest, school, conference and state rules.
• Supervise assistant coaches and support professional development where applicable.
• Oversee safety conditions and accountability for students and facilities.
