Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements a regular program of practice in season.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility when students are present.
• Maintains statistics, records, and results of the season and reports to the athletic director.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior; sets penalties for breaches.
• Maintains knowledge of rules, interpretations, and procedures of the sport.
• Attends pre-season and post-season meetings.
• Adheres to injury prevention protocols and follow-up.
• Coordinates with the athletics director to report issues.
• Recommends equipment, supplies, and uniforms for purchase.
• Maintains communications with parents about the athletic program.
