Job summary

Springfield Catholic Schools is seeking a qualified Girls Head Track Coach at Springfield Catholic High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on developing athletes' skills, discipline, and sportsmanship while ensuring safety and program integrity.

The successful candidate will coach at all practices and games, maintain records, and perform duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Principal. Coaching experience preferred; VIRTUS certification and background check required.

Responsibilities

Springfield Catholic Schools System is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Girls Head Track Coachat Springfield Catholic High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Summary: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.

• Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent performance in the sport.
• Must be present at all practices and games
• Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area in which the assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are present.
• Enforces disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times
• Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Principal.

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age, VIRTUS certified (provided through SCS), have previous coaching experience is preferred, and a Background check is required, and all MSHSAA requirements.
