• Provide technical expertise and sound educational methods to aid student-athletes to improve performance.
• Promote good public relations and assist in evaluating playing personnel.
• Maintain and inventory all equipment and conduct team, individual and parent meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the school administration.

Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

2. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain a CDL
Reports to & evaluated by: Principal/Athletic Director
Job Goal: To develop and maintain an efficient and competitive basketball
program.
Essential Duties & Performance Responsibilities:
1. Ability to work with middle school aged student-athletes.
2. Assists in organizing the Vance County Middle basketball program.
3. Assists in planning and carrying out game responsibilities.
4. Organize, supervise, coordinate and evaluate practice sessions and related
activities with attention to student-athletes’ mental and physical well-being
5. Provide technical expertise and sound educational methods so as to aid
student-athletes to improve quality of performance
6. Assists in promoting good public relations.
7. Assists in evaluating playing personnel
8. Assists in maintaining and inventorying all equipment.
9. Assists in conducting team, individual and parent meetings.
10. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as The Board of
Education, the Superintendent, Principal and/or Athletic Director may
assign.
