Proviso West High School in Hillside, IL seeks an Athletics/Activities Assistant Coach stipend position to support the Head Coach in planning, implementing, and evaluating all facets of the sport. FLSA Status: Extra Duty/Stipend Position

Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in planning, implementing, and evaluating all facets of the for the sport, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and development-focused environment for student-athletes. The coach will work closely with students, faculty, administrators, and parents to implement a comprehensive and competitive program. Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, the coach assumes responsibility for the program, fostering a positive and disciplined team culture. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to work collaboratively within the school community. A successful track record in teaching and coaching is expected.
