Job summary

Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking dedicated Middle School Girls Basketball Coaches for the 2026-2027 season at Eagle Point Middle School. You will mentor student-athletes, uphold the district's mission, and foster a positive athletic environment. This role requires NFHS and OSAA certifications, as well as background checks and district employment paperwork.

The coach reports to the Athletic Director and will participate in required Safe Schools training in alignment with district policies.

Qualifications

• NFHS Certification and OSAA certifications are required.
• Valid First Aid with CPR and AED training.
• Successful completion of district fingerprinting/background check.
• Completion of all district employment paperwork and Safe Schools modules.

Responsibilities

• Coach middle school girls basketball teams and prepare athletes for competitions.
• Model positive conduct and support student-athletes on and off the court.
• Ensure compliance with NFHS/OSAA standards and district policies.
• Complete required coaching and background checks as mandated.

This position requires a passionate role model who is committed to supporting student-athletes both on and off the pavement.

The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a positive athletic environment and upholding the educational mission of Eagle Point School District.

Minimum Requirements

• NFHS Certification (National Federation of State High School Associations)
• Completion of all OSAA Certifications
• Valid First Aid Card, including CPR and AED training
• Successful completion of District Fingerprinting/Criminal Background Check
• Completion of all required School District employment paperwork
• Completion of Safe Schools training modules

Position Title: Middle School Coach Girls Basketball

Location: Eagle Point Middle School

Reports To: Athletic Director

Contract Days: As outlined in the District Agreement

Salary Range: $1,853 (Per District Agreement)
