Job summary

The Bremerton School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for Girls Basketball for the 2026-27 season. The stipend is $6,115 for the period 11/16/26 through 3/6/27, with duties under the Head Coach and Athletic Director.

Requirements include WIAA training, First Aid, and CPR Certification. Prior coaching youth is preferred but not required; flexibility for pre- and postseason training to prepare the team for competition is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires WIAA training, First Aid, and CPR Certification.
• Experience coaching young adults is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Head Coach.
• Assist in the development of the athletic program as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist Head Coach with supervisory responsibilities and/or supervise the team.
• Accompany and direct all games at home or out of town for the team.
• Adhere to district policies and administrative regulations.
• Communicate any individual or team problems to the Head Coach immediately.
