Job summary

ACA Group is seeking a Consultant, APS to support periodic verifications of investment management firms’ adherence to GIPS standards and related services. You will analyze performance data, prepare reports, and communicate with clients while staying current on GIPS updates.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics and at least two years in investment management or financial services. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment management, accounting, or financial services.
• Solid working knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply guidance to determine applicability of the GIPS standards within client frameworks.
• Communicate with clients and alert team members to issues during engagements.
• Analyze composite membership and portfolio data, recalculate performance statistics per GIPS, and verify data accuracy in materials.
• Document procedures and challenges from engagements and assist in preparing verification and reports.
• Stay current on GIPS updates and participate in continuing education.
