Job summary

Osseo Area Schools invites applications for the Talent Development, Academic Challenge and Gifted Support Specialist (TAG). This role focuses on delivering differentiated, extended, and enriched instruction, collaborating with classroom teachers to raise student engagement in ELA and Math, and supporting individual scholar goals and independent projects.

You will work with building leaders to plan DEE opportunities, monitor fidelity, coordinate across departments, and communicate with families

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
• If not licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain DEE instruction in ELA and Math with differentiated, extended, and enriched opportunities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure scholars are engaged in challenging learning and to support goals and independent scholar projects.
• Monitor fidelity of DEE implementation and collaborate across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement.
