Guest Services in Washington state is seeking a Retail Clerk to assist customers, stock merchandise, and handle cash transactions in a high-traffic gift shop. You will greet guests, answer questions, and ensure clean, organized displays while upholding safety and policy compliance.

The role requires strong cash handling ability, math skills, and excellent communication in English. Prior gift shop or retail experience is preferred, with potential housing & meal plan options available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Ability to communicate and attend to guests with the highest standard of customer service.
• Ability to pass cash handling training.
• Mathematics skills.
• National Park gift shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers; thank them as they leave.
• Answer questions and provide information on products, promotions, and policies.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation and care.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise based on needs.
• Process cash or credit payments and issue receipts or refunds.
