Job summary

William & Mary seeks a Gift Planning Administrator to manage bequests, life income gifts, real property and related data workflows. You will draft agreements, run regular and ad hoc reports, and partner with the Director for distributions from trusts and estates.

You will establish and maintain procedures, coordinate with the Foundation, and provide donor and internal support in a flexible, hybrid role in Williamsburg, VA.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or post high school education, training, or certifications.
• Prior experience in a professional office environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management for handling multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel and familiarity with databases.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to read/interpret complex documents.
• Ability to track and compile data and produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Process, administer and track bequests, life income gifts and real property.
• Develop ticklers for stages of each estate and planned gift; manage revocable provisions.
• Create regular and ad hoc reports and assist with audits for data accuracy.
• Establish workflow processes and tracking systems; maintain a Gift Planning manual.
• Respond to inquiries from donors, gift officers and university staff.
• Handle insurance transactions and tangible gifts; collaborate with Foundation personnel.
• Review CRM proposals and use PGCalc for gift planning calculations.
