Job summary

Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village is seeking a Full Time GI Tech to join our team. You will work with skilled physicians to assist in GI procedures and provide compassionate patient care in a busy ambulatory setting.

We value teamwork, reliability, and clear communication as we deliver high-quality surgical services and build lasting relationships with patients and staff. You will prepare equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support the GI lab daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures in healthcare.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
• Must communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Render professional care to patients undergoing GI procedures.
• Prepare equipment and anticipate Physician and patient needs.
• Maintain the GI procedure area and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining sterility and cleanliness of the lab.
• Communicate clearly with patients to provide explanations and comfort.
