Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a dedicated team member for the Endoscopy department. The role is full-time, day shifts, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities Saturday and Sunday every 4th weekend.
The incumbent will support endoscopy procedures, assist physicians, and ensure accurate scheduling and documentation in Meditech. A CNA certification is desirable, with a strong focus on compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Call 6a-10a Saturday/Sunday every 4th weekend
Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.50
Provides personalized, compassionate patient care addressing patients' age and cultural needs; maintains supplies and equipment for department needs along with a clean, safe work environment. Demonstrates competency in the following areas:
Use of endoscopy equipment (light source, monitor, and scopes, vital signmonitors, transfer carts)
Use of automatic endoscope reprocessor, cleaning and disinfecting the scopes.
Assisting physician performing gastroscopy, colonoscopy, PEG tube placement/replacement/removal.
Accuracy in Meditech scheduling and documentation for Endoscopy.
Professional and courteous communication with coworkers, physicians and customers; after-hours communication is handled per protocol.
Exhibits the ability and initiative to prioritize patient care, uses sound judgment and decision-making criteria as necessary, is a strong patient advocate and questions physician orders when appropriate.
Prioritizes assignments and duties, completes work in a timely manner, utilizes downtime constructively, and participates in committees, teams and meetings as requested by director.
Provides support and education professionally that is well-received by team members and students, is a positive, professional role model, displays flexibility in the scheduling process byfollowing guidelines for PHO, low census and call-offs; is attuned to specific staffing needs of the department based on acuity and census, and assists with management activities as directed by director.
