Job summary

Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for GI hospital procedures to deliver high-quality care across preoperative, recovery, and discharge phases. The GI RN team collaborates with ABMC physicians, surgeons, and anesthesia providers.

You will coordinate comprehensive patient care using nursing processes, participate in GI procedures like colonoscopies and EGD, and contribute to a safe, effective patient experience across all care phases.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS to be completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and compassionate communication.
