The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Physician Assistant degree and current Rhode Island licensure. A competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 is offered with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Rhode Island PA licensure.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Previous Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, or related clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories.
• Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform hospital consultations and follow‑up care.
• Review diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and imaging reports.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists.
• Document encounters accurately within the electronic medical record system.
