Job summary

Gastro Health in Miami, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed pathologist to join our GI-focused pathology team at a single laboratory location. This role features no call, no hospital coverage, no nights, and a highly flexible workday tailored to your caseload.

Responsibilities include diagnosing daily GI specimens, collaborating with fellow pathologists and lab staff, and maintaining efficient turnaround times. An active license and GI sign-out experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida medical license required at time of application.
• GI pathology sign-out experience preferred – fellowship or 2–5 years of GI exposure.
• Ability to efficiently manage a high-volume GI workload.
• Strong collaborative and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose daily GI specimens and provide timely diagnoses in line with CAP turnaround standards.
• Collaborate with fellow pathologists and laboratory staff on internal QA and intradepartmental consultation.
• Maintain an efficient workflow when reviewing and diagnosing biopsies.
