Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the GI clinic focused on IBD care. You will manage GI patients with a team of gastroenterologists, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and contribute to education and research.

Arizona NP license or eligibility and NP board certification are required, along with active DEA, BLS, and CPR. The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation support in a dedicated IBD practice.

GI (IBD focused) Nurse Practitioner - Banner University Medicine Tucson, AZ

Banner - University Medical Group, one of the country’s premier, non-profit health care organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to be part of a dynamic team providing clinical care in the Gastroenterology Clinic at Banner - University Medical Center North Campus. A previous gastroenterology background and exposure are preferred as are candidates who appreciate a team-based approach to caring for gastroenterology patients.

As a Nurse Practitioner, this position involves hospital based clinical management of patients, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with Gastroenterologists and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care within the clinical faculty.

Practice & Compensation Details

• Join a dedicated IBD practice caring for patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, chronic inflammatory conditions requiring ongoing, specialized management
• Manage an established IBD patient panel in collaboration with an experienced IBD physician, providing routine follow-up, disease monitoring, medication management, and assessment of disease activity
• GI service line currently consists of 6 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Sign-on bonus and relocation incentives

• Includes additional non-clinical administrative time

Work Schedule

• Mon-Fri | 8am-5pm | No weekends or major holidays!
