AIMS Locum Tenens seeks a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive GI care at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat GI patients, coordinate with physicians, and support GI-specific programs.

Responsibilities include patient evaluations, ordering tests, prescribing medications, educating patients, and documenting in MHS GENESIS. Schedule aligns with clinic needs within a military facility; compliance with infection control and safety standards

Qualificações

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing required (Nurse Practitioner program).
• Must meet DHA requirements for Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) required; BLS required.
• Current, full, active NP license in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations (history, exams, diagnostics).
• Diagnose and treat GI diseases, disorders, and injuries.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and procedures.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans per protocol.
• Provide follow-up for chronic GI conditions and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with GI physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
