Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with clinical and clerical tasks in a gastroenterology setting. You will manage patient charts, assist with tests, and ensure timely communication of results to patients and clinicians.

The ideal candidate has current Medical Assistant certification, CPR preferred, and 2–3 years of specialty clinical experience, preferably in gastroenterology. On-site position with standard office hours in Suwanee, GA.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required; CPR certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of specialty clinical experience; gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient flow and coordinates visits and in-office procedures.
• Triages patients, collects history, and provides physical assessments as delegated.
• Schedules tests/procedures, communicates results to physicians and patients.
• Performs in-office ancillary services and assists physicians as needed.
• Maintains EMR charts, preps charts before visits, and ensures HIPAA compliance.
