Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant I to support both clinical and administrative tasks within our practice. You will assist physicians with patient care, manage patient flow, and handle clerical duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of MA experience in a medical setting, with a preference for gastroenterology exposure and familiarity with EMR systems. We support patient-centered care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, or MA diploma or college coursework in medical assisting.
• Experience: Minimum one year in a medical facility as a medical assistant; gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and exams, including vital signs, history, and screenings.
• Perform clerical duties: scheduling, records, insurance verification, check-in/out.
• Support patient flow, triage calls, and coordinate with team.
• Other duties as assigned.
