Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage in Virginia. The role includes 24-hour inpatient call, ERCP procedures, and collaboration with multiple locums. Virginia license is required, and Epic is the EMR used for charting. Coverage is ongoing through 2023 with a 183-bed facility.

Average patient volume is 10-15 per day, with 2-4 procedures and 4-5 consults. The position benefits from a full-service agency and travel coordination.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Gastroenterologist with an active Virginia license.
• ERCP experience is required.
• Inpatient call coverage 24 hours.
• Coverage is ongoing through 2023, split among locums.

Responsibilities

• Provide GI coverage for locum shifts in Virginia.
• Perform ERCP procedures and inpatient rounds as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with hospital staff and other GI physicians.
• Maintain timely documentation in the Epic EMR.
