Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC seeks a Permanent Gastroenterology Physician for a hospital-based role in Des Moines, IA. The position involves inpatient GI consultations, teaching Internal Medicine residents and medical students, and coverage across two metro campuses.

The role is permanent and full-time with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule. J-1 and H-1B applicants are encouraged to apply. BOARD certification or eligibility in GI, Iowa medical license, DEA and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in gastroenterology.
• Iowa medical license required.
• DEA and BLS certification.
• Self-Query NPDB pulled within 30 days of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultation.
• Participate in advanced therapeutic GI services.
• Collaborate with GI clinic and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in teaching Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
