Job summary

The GI Certified Surgical Technologist at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Jamaica Plain, MA, is responsible for supporting patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sterile technique, and endoscopic equipment handling.

Full-time, day shift with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new graduates. Qualifications include a high school diploma, Surgical Technologist Certification, ARC/STSA program, NBSTSA certification, and current OR/ASC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Surgical Technologist Certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (ARC/STSA).
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience.
• Knowledge of: Surgical instrumentation and equipment, Sterile and aseptic technique, Endoscope care and handling.
• Commitment to I.C.A.R.E. standards.
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
