Job summary

Valley View is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the GI Center team in Glenwood Springs, CO. You will provide clinical nutrition services, MNT, education, and counseling for digestive conditions, collaborating with providers to support Celiac disease, IBD, hepatology and related GI conditions.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site with competitive starting salary; salary is dependent on education, experience and skill-set. Apply to join a patient-centered program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum one year experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills, customer service, and communication required

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients with digestive conditions. Documents in the medical record, according to guideline.
• Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family and health care team members.
• Educates and counsels on health-related topics such as diet/nutrition, therapeutic diet management, chronic disease management.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide regulatory compliance and public relations.
