Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Supply Tech GFP to lead GFP lifecycle activities across sites, ensuring accurate records and compliance with DoD policies. You will manage receipt, storage, issue, transfer, and disposal while supporting program milestones and audits.

The role requires 5+ years in military logistics, proficiency with GFP tracking systems, and ability to obtain CAC clearance. On-site work at Fort Sill with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical military logistics and GFP processes.
• Experience with logistics STAMIS and related training/mentoring.
• Ability to obtain CAC and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct GFP lifecycle activities including receipt, storage, issue, turnover, and disposal.
• Maintain GFP accountability in property management systems and perform reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for GFP handling, tagging, barcoding, and cycle counting.
• Coordinate complex GFP movements with proper documentation and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and agency security policies; support audits.
