Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services in Ferndale, MI is hiring for General Food Assembly in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will prepare and package salsa and hummus, stack products on pallets, and check labels and overall quality. You must work independently with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

This is a temporary position with competitive pay and generous referral bonuses. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with long hours during peak season starting in May. Weekend work may be required.

Job description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for General Food Assembly in Ferndale, MI.

In general food assembly for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:

• Preparing and packaging salsa / hummus products
• Stacking and organization of product onto pallets
• Checking labels and overall quality of all products

This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.

All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $14.00 - $14.50 per hour.

Generous referral bonuses are available.

Available shifts include:

• 1st (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
• 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm)
• 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am)

Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. During their peak season starting in May you will work 6-7 days a week.
