Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab.

You will assess AI-generated music across genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in German and English. Start date is immediate, duration up to 6 months, with a flexible commitment around 20 hours per week. Compensation is paid per task, varies by task type and location.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native German required.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer or audio engineer.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
