Job summary
UPMC Central PA is seeking Per Diem adult and senior care physicians to join our post-acute care team across Cumberland County. You will provide direct patient care in skilled nursing facilities, rehab, assisted living, and clinics, collaborating with facility leadership and care management to drive high-quality outcomes.
We welcome board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Internal, Family or Geriatric Medicine.
Qualifications
- Board certified/Board eligible in Internal, Family or Geriatric Medicine.
- Team oriented with the ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care in multiple facilities across the aging continuum.
- Interacts with facility leadership, hospital discharge teams, and care management.
- Crossover with several specialists to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Collaborates with and supervises Advanced Practice Providers.
- Uses EPIC EMR and PACS imaging with lab results; participates in rounding M-F.
- Overnight and weekend call is shared among partners and APPs.
