Job summary

Lincoln Hospital, part of MaineHealth, seeks a full-time Geriatrician for the Damariscotta campus to provide care to long-term care residents. The role includes potential inpatient opportunities at other MaineHealth facilities and primary care within Lincoln Hospital outpatient clinics.

Join the Division of Geriatrics to expand services across Maine’s MidCoast region, collaborating with an experienced team dedicated to comprehensive geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent.
• Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics or similar.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to long-term care residents at the Damariscotta campus.
• Opportunity for inpatient care at other MaineHealth facilities or primary care within Lincoln Hospital outpatient clinics.
• Be part of the Division of Geriatrics to expand geriatrics services across Maine’s MidCoast region.
• Contribute to a collaborative, experienced geriatrics team.

Education

ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Geriatrics Fellowship preferred
