Job summary

Britt Medical in Huntsville, AL is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive primary care for Medicare patients, with a focus on preventive medicine, wellness, and improved health outcomes in outpatient settings.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for leadership growth, center medical director consideration, and participation in a value-based care model that rewards quality over volume.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license.
• Active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for older adults, focusing on preventive medicine and wellness.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments; coordinate with care teams to meet quality goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to guide center care team and participate in value-based care initiatives.
• Possible advancement to Center Medical Director for highly qualified candidates.
