Job summary

MaineHealth Geriatric Medicine is seeking a Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide primary care in partnered facilities, including long term care, assisted living, and skilled rehabilitation. The PA/NP will assess, diagnose, prescribe, treat and educate patients in a team-based model with geriatricians and other APPs.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range ($113,900–$147,400) and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.
• Two years of NP/PA experience preferred but not required.
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure. BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients.
• Work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team-based model with geriatricians and other APPs.
• Collaborate with partnered facilities to deliver comprehensive geriatric care.
