Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Oversight and Attending Physician, Long Term Care to oversee and provide direct physician care for residents in assigned skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Collaboration with APNs, facility leadership, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team ensures high-quality, timely, and compliant care.

Requirements include an MD/DO, active state license, and board certification in geriatrics, family, or internal medicine, with ability to travel to facilities for rounds

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in geriatrics, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• Active medical license in the applicable state.
• Experience with long-term care regulations and CMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician for residents and facilities.
• Provide supervision for advanced practice providers per state requirements.
• Complete physician services: admissions, H&Ps, regulatory visits, and other encounters.
• Round on-site at facilities at least every other week, weekly preferred.
• Review orders and care plans; ensure accurate documentation and clinical records.
