Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Maine medical license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and shared decision-making.
• Experience with Epic or other electronic health record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive medical care to older adults, including those in long-term care settings.
• Conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Managing chronic illnesses and polypharmacy common in older adults.
• Collaborating with nursing, APPs, rehabilitation professionals, specialists, social services, and care team members.
• Partnering with patients and families to support informed decision-making and care planning.
