Job summary

Parkland Health in Southeast Dallas is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for acute and chronic conditions, including history, exam, assessment, and tailored treatment plans. The role includes in-person and virtual care, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes and health maintenance.

You will work in a team-based outpatient environment with strong clinical support. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with one day of remote work, supporting flexible coverage

Qualifications

• Must have completed an ACGME/AMA approved residency in the relevant specialty.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas and maintain licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents essential patient information; develops and carries out management plans.
• Provides in-person and/or virtual care using evidence-based guidelines to improve outcomes.
• Counsels patients and families on health promotion and self-management of conditions.
• Collaborates with other health professionals to provide coordinated patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and maintains compassionate patient relationships.
• Keeps current with developments by attending seminars and reading journals.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and accreditation requirements.
• Practices cost-effective care and meets productivity expectations.
