Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and, for Pediatric/Young Adult, a Master’s in Music Therapy.
• Minimum two years of full-time experience in a nursing home or hospital setting with relevant populations.
• Must be able to produce required medical/clinical documentation including MDS and CCP.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and leads therapeutic recreation programs.
• Keeps accurate daily records of activities and participant progress.
• Interviews referred patients and plans activities tailored to needs.
• Supervises volunteers and interns as applicable.
• Maintains clinical notes and monthly activity calendars.
