Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking a driven Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. The PTA will carry out treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to patient-centered care by documenting progress and following facility policies.

Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining timely and accurate progress notes, and ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of FL.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Patient service must be exceptional and professional at all times.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA and Federal Residents Rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provide treatment according to goals developed by the PT.
• Provide feedback to the supervising PT via documentation or other facility procedures.
