Job summary

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will support the licensed PT, evaluate and treat residents with mobility issues in a skilled nursing setting, and promote functional activity for geriatric residents.

Experience in SNF preferred but not required. Candidates must hold a PTA license in the state of practice and are expected to deliver client-centered care with compassion.

Qualifications

• Must have a PTA License in the state of practice.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness.
• Promote independent evaluation and treatment of residents within a skilled nursing facility.
• Deliver client-centered care to geriatric residents with compassion and professionalism.
