The Meadows on University in Fargo, ND is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for full-time and PRN roles. The facility focuses on compassionate geriatric care with a strong emphasis on mobility and recovery, offering in-house CEU courses and day-to-day support in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active PTA license or registration in state employed.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.
