Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university.
• Must have a Florida professional license and registration.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to write evaluations and progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality and confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient status and educate patients and families on therapy methods.
• Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure best patient-centered care.
