Job summary

Supportive Care is seeking a Provider 1 1/2-2 days/week for a nursing home in Rome, NY. The role offers a flexible schedule between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with part-time or full-time opportunities depending on location.

Responsibilities include psychosocial evaluations and psychotherapy for residents, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing social support therapy weekly. Licensure in psychology, social work, or counseling is required.

Qualifications

• License(s) required include psychologist, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT in NY.
• Experience in behavioral health for nursing facilities is preferred.
• Must maintain documentation and provide psychotherapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Establish open communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues.
• Provide psychosocial evaluations and psychotherapy sessions for residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide social support therapy to residents through weekly sessions.
• Implement therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
