Job summary

Locums is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to cover an OH inpatient unit focused on adult and geriatric psychiatry. Responsibilities include inpatient geriatric psychiatry with minimal adult IOP and a 24-hour on-site call for admissions outside of scheduled duties.

The unit comprises 10 beds with an average census of 3.8 and about 2–3 admits/discharges weekly; adult IOP runs roughly 2 patients per day from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Responsibilities

• Adult & Geriatric Psychiatry
• Inpatient geriatric psych + minimal adult IOP
• 24-hour call - only required to come onsite for admissions outside of scheduled responsibilities
• 10-bed unit | Avg census: 3.8
• Avg 2-3 admits/discharges per week
• Adult IOP: ~2 patients/day, between 12-3 PM
• Cases: bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, dementia with psychosis & anxiety
