Qualifications
Valid Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Medical Doctor (MD) license.
2 or more years of experience in Geriatric Care, Primary Care, or Post Acute.
Valid Medical Doctor (MD) certification/license in Pennsylvania (PA).
Valid BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Current DPS Certification or DPS In-Progress.
Current DEA Certification or DEA In-Progress.
Responsibilities
Independently completing patient history and physical data, performing comprehensive physical exams, and making appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests based on patient needs.
Prescribing suitable pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
Collaborating, educating, and supervising Advanced Practice Providers.
Maintaining and efficiently reviewing patient records, charts, and relevant information.
Instructing and educating patients and their families on medications and treatment instructions.
