Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited US medical school.
• US medical residency completed or equivalent pathway.
• Active New York medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for nursing home patients.
• Order lab and radiology tests and refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Diagnose conditions and propose treatment options.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as needed.
• Discuss medication effects with patients and verify allergies before prescribing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with health privacy laws.
• Record complete, timely, legible medical records.
