Job summary

Good Samaritan in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will implement and adjust interventions to support mobility, strength and daily living tasks, and document patient responses to guide ongoing care.

This PRN, day-shift position requires compliance with state licensure, BLS, and our drug-free workplace policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) PTA program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises as scheduled in the treatment plan under PT supervision.
• Document patient responses and progress to inform ongoing care and treatment planning.
