Job summary

St. Bernards is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Patient Care Manager, in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with essential tasks and communicate observations to the nursing team.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Overtime and call-back are possible; you must follow hospital policies and participate in required PCT training or RN/LPN student checklists.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or its equivalent.
• Ability to use Windows, Office and Internet.
• PCT training or RN/LPN student skills checklist may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned patient care activities under direct supervision of nursing staff.
• Assist licensed nursing personnel and document observations and activities.
