Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in the New York area. You will manage a full caseload, primarily in an Assisted Living Facility with some home visits, while using clinical judgment to promote independence and safe aging in place.

We value autonomy, collaboration with experienced therapists, and timely documentation. The position features a predictable daytime schedule and a supportive team dedicated to meaningful outcomes

Qualifications

• Licensed and practicing OTA with 3+ years of experience.
• Comfortable providing interventions in ALF settings and home visits as needed.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with 48-hour turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload and provide individualized Occupational Therapy interventions.
• Primarily treat patients in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) setting, with occasional home/community visits.
• Manage your patient schedule within the 9:00 AM-5:30 PM workday.
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, safety, and functional skills.
• Address self-care, transfers, balance, coordination, strength, and adaptive strategies.
• Complete documentation within 48 hours and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
