Job summary

Rivetus is a specialized rehabilitation company serving the geriatric post-acute community. The OTA role is based around Canton, MI, with travel to nearby facilities and a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

The position emphasizes quality patient outcomes and adherence to current clinical standards. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will deliver treatments, document care, and collaborate with the therapy team to support discharge planning and ongoing patient education within skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited OTA program.
• State licensure as required by Michigan.
• Ability to assist with patient lifting within safe limits.
• Willingness to travel locally to facilities in the Canton area.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments per established plan under supervision.
• Document and maintain medical records accurately and in compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Supervise students and volunteers as needed.
