Schofield Care Adult Day Health Care in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide restorative and maintenance modalities under supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

• Education: A graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Certification: Must be an Occupational Therapy Assistant certified by the AOTA and currently registered with NYSED.

Responsibilities

• Carry out OT treatment procedures under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct residents to perform self-help and follow-up OT activities.
• Assist in orthotic devices fitting and instruction on proper use.
