Comprehensive Mobile Care in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to deliver patient-centered eye care to seniors at facilities. You will perform comprehensive exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and coordinate with facility staff to meet patient needs.

This role emphasizes independence, compassionate communication, and adaptability to geriatric and mobile care environments, with a 2 days/month schedule and 8.5 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree is required.
• Active state license in Optometry is required.
• Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved populations
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with facility staff to support patient needs
• Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive eye care and condition management
• Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs
