Job summary

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our care team. The OT will assess referred patients, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to improve function and quality of life in a long-term care setting.

You will document progress, educate patients and families, supervise OT Assistants, and collaborate with physicians and other disciplines. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist program and licensed.
• Active OT license/registration for state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care/geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehab and determine goals.
• Establish and administer individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct OT services; document conditions and progress.
• Educate patients and families on therapy approaches.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Supervise and delegate to OT Assistants.
